With a month-long season, the eagerly anticipated partnership between Fortnite and "The Simpsons" debuts on Saturday. They will participate in an 80-player "Springfield Island" as "Fortnite smashes into Springfield," where Fortnite promises "a fast-paced, back-to-basics Battle Royale experience."
Throughout November, the gameplay of "The Simpsons" will change every week. In addition to "Simpsons" versions of Fortnite characters, such as Blinky Fishstick and Springfielder Peely, the show-themed "Springfield Battle Pass" include costumes like Homer, Marge, and Ned Flanders. (It is also said that the skins have alternate variants, including Witch Marge from "Treehouse of Horror" and Evil Homer.) The first of Fortnite's "Sidekicks," which were revealed on Friday, is also included in the battle pass: Peels may be obtained with the Springfield Battle Pass and the special sidekick until more are sent to the store on November 7.
Krusty Burger, the Kwik-E-Mart, Moe's Tavern, the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, Mr. Burns' mansion, the Simpsons' house, and other familiar spots will be included in the cel-shaded "Springfield Island."
Starting on November 1, four unique "The Simpsons" cartoons will air once a week, giving players a sneak peek at the gameplay story and map changes for that week. In addition to running on Disney+, the shorts will be shown on Fortnite's social media channels and under the "quests" menu (under "animated shorts"). "Apocalypse D'oh" (November 1), "Sugar High" (November 10), "Multiplidiocy" (November 17), and "The Incredible Bulk" (November 24) are the titles of the episodes, which are co-produced by Epic Games and Gracie Films.
